Hinata Lake

Hinata Lake is a large lake located within a park in Hinata.

While on a date with Mutsumi Otohime, Keitaro Urashima finds himself wandering the lake's pathways and discovers various lovers on similar dates. Attempting to avoid giving the wrong impression, he takes a boat out into the lake to avoid the couples, only to end up looking more like they were on a romantic date than before.

During winter, the lake is known to freeze over and people can be found ice skating across the frozen water.

Location Design

The lake pond is based on Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park, Tokyo, with the buildings in the background being based on buildings seen in Odori Park in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
